It's 6 AM

I had some very deep thoughts earlier in the morning. Yet, now, after two cups of strong black coffee, the ephiphany is gone.

My devotions this morning led me to John 14 when Jesus said to His diciples that He would go and prepare a place for them. I have read this passage so many times before, even sung about it in Sunday VBS. I suppose it never really sunk in deep that Jesus was talking to "me". That the place He is creating is a real place of rest. I can ask anything according to God's will and it shall be given to "me". The promises are mine to keep.
